Car Park Competitors, parents and guardians may use the golf club car park. The Scottish Golf Union and Brunston Castle Golf Club cannot accept responsibility for any damage to cars.
Catering Coffee and morning rolls will be available from 7.00am. Snacks and lunch will be available throughout the day. All catering is at the competitor's expense.
Clubhouse The clubhouse will be open at 6.30am. Competitors are permitted the use of the clubhouse facilities. In all clubhouse areas and on the course casual wear is acceptable for competitors but must be smart. THE WEARING OF JEANS, DENIM TROUSERS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS, SHELL SUITS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED. Competitors shall not be allowed to purchase alcoholic drinks.
MOBILE PHONES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IN THE CLUBHOUSE AND ON THE COURSE.
Yardage Books and Caddie Cars Yardage books are available for purchase and trollies are available for hire from the Professional’s Shop. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Registration & Play Competitors must report to the SGU Mobile Office at least 30 minutes prior to their morning starting times as shown on the official draw sheet. Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering at the Championship Office.
Competitors will play two rounds on Saturday 23 May.
COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival at the first tee will result in disqualification as no provision has been made under Rule 6-3.
CADDIES ARE NOT PERMITTED AND COMPETITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST NOT SEEK OR ACCEPT ADVICE FROM PARENTS, OTHER COMPETITORS OR ANY OTHER PERSON. NB. "Advice" is any counsel or suggestion that could influence a player in determining his play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke.
Etiquette In the interests of all, each competitor should play without delay, leave a bunker as he would expect to find it, replace divots and repair pitch marks.
Practice Competitors may book one complimentary practice round by telephoning the Professional’s Shop on 01465 811825. The rate for additional practice rounds is £32 (mid week), £37 (weekend).
A driving range is available at the club; tokens may be purchased from the Professional’s Shop.
Presentation There will be no official prize presentation. Vouchers will be forwarded to the leading 3 players.
Responsibility Brunston Castle Golf Club and the Scottish Golf Union cannot accept responsibility for players’ property during the event.
